Attach Script to Task

Used to attach a script to a task. The script controls the movement of the graphical elements to produce a simulation of the tasks. The Attach Script dialog controls are similar to those of the Include Script dialog, accessed though the Animation Producer dialog.

You can access this tool from the following:

Ribbon: Visualization > Animate > Schedule Simulation
Toolbox: Schedule Simulation

Setting	Description
Task	Allows you to select a task from a drop-down menu.
File	Drop-down menu lets you choose the active DGN file or reference file.
Text box	Lists the name and description of the script to include.
Repeat Count	Sets how many times the attached script will be repeated.
Scale	Sets the scale factor for the attached script, which will increase or decrease the length of the animation. Note: Attaching scripts can be quite useful when an animation includes more than one moving object. The scripts for each set of objects can be developed separately and combined by including them in a single master script.
